Terms and Conditions - Chalet Talblick

1. Conclusion of contract and services
The contract between you and Chalet Talblick (Teresa & Dominik Imhof) is concluded with the acceptance of your written or verbal booking and is definitive from this point in time. These AVRB apply to all travel participants. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors, e.g. printing and calculation errors.
The services are set out in the service description in the brochure documents, on the Internet and/or in the booking confirmation. The number of persons stated in the contract must be respected in all cases and may not be exceeded without the express consent of Chalet Talblick.

2. Payment
The prices in Swiss francs stated in the booking confirmation are binding.
In the event of an obvious incorrect booking due to system-related errors in the booking system, the agreed prices shall be null and void.
If payment is not made on time as agreed in the contract, Chalet Talblick may terminate the contract without compensation and claim any cancellation costs.
A deposit is due on completion of the booking. This is visible and binding before the purchase.

3. Cancellation and amendment of the contract by the guest
We recommend that you take out travel insurance with cancellation cover.
If you cancel a booking or make a rebooking, our consent is required. You must inform us immediately in writing if you wish to change or cancel a booking.
If the tenant wishes to withdraw from the rental contract for reasons other than illness or accident, the following conditions apply:

- up to 60 days before arrival: processing fee CHF 100.
- 59 - 45 days before arrival: processing fee of CHF 100 & 30% payment on account
- 44 - 30 days before arrival: processing fee of CHF 100 & payment of 50% on account
- 29 - 0 days before arrival: full rental amount plus processing fee CHF 100.
- no arrival: total rental amount plus processing fee CHF 100.

If the room or apartment can be re-let after a cancellation, Chalet Talblick is obliged to refund the customer the full amount minus a processing fee of CHF 100.
The date of receipt of the notification shall be decisive. On Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, the next working day shall be decisive.
Non-appearance of a service (no show) shall be treated as a cancellation. In this case, Chalet Talblick has the right to claim the amount owed. In the event of early departure, the total amount remains due.
If you do not make use of the booked service, you may in principle nominate a replacement person who will take over the service under the same conditions. This is subject to the condition that the replacement person is jointly and severally liable for the price offered.
You are responsible for your own arrival. In the event of late arrival due to disruptions and obstructions in public and private transportation (including rail and air), as well as for personal reasons, no refund will be made.

4. Cancellation and amendment of the contract by Chalet Talblick
No liability can be accepted for service disruptions caused beyond our control, in particular in the event of war, strike, natural disasters, etc., or for service disruptions in the areas of transportation, supply and disposal (e.g. water, energy, access roads), especially if these disruptions are caused by force majeure or local climatic conditions.

5. Liability
You are responsible for your own personal insurance cover (in particular accident and health insurance, damage to property and luggage and loss of luggage). Chalet Talblick accepts no liability whatsoever.
Chalet Talblick is not liable for unforeseeable circumstances in rental properties that cannot be influenced by us, such as
- Failures or malfunctions in the water and/or electricity supply as well as facilities such as heating, elevator, etc.
- Reduction in the value of services due to environmental damage, temporary increased noise emissions such as construction sites, night noise, etc.

6. Obligations of the tenant
The tenant undertakes to treat the rented property (vacation apartment, inventory and outdoor facilities) with care. If damage occurs to the vacation apartment and/or its inventory during the tenancy, the tenant is obliged to report this immediately to the landlord.
Defects and damage discovered on arrival must be reported to the landlord immediately, otherwise the tenant is liable for this damage. A reasonable period of time must be allowed for the rectification of damage and defects.
Claims arising from complaints that are not reported immediately on site are excluded. Complaints that are only received by the landlord at the end of the stay or after leaving the vacation apartment are also excluded from compensation.
The house rules are available in the vacation apartment and must be observed.

7. Use of WLAN
The terms of use are regulated in the house rules.

8. Data privacy
The tenant agrees to the storage, modification and / or deletion of necessary personal data within the scope of the contract concluded with him. All personal data will be treated with absolute confidentiality.

9. Validity / Applicable law
Swiss law shall apply. Visp (Switzerland) is agreed as the exclusive place of jurisdiction.
